They have a large tasting room, though the tasting bar can feel very crowded during peak times. The staff is mostly friendly, though given the design of the tasting bar, you can tell they are trying heard to notice everyone, sometimes failing. The tasting room has adjacent banquet halls for rent and an oddly located outdoor patio. They do offer tours, though I have never taken one.
On our first visit, we joined the wine club as their tastings are free for members and you get a nice selection of wine every 3 months. Membership also comes with discounts on wine. They make good reds and good whites. I am hard-pressed to find a wine I don't like there!
Their failures are in communications. They have been around since 1922 and they communicate like it. After several attempts at getting my email address corrected, they still have not. I have tried communicating via social media, email, and in person to no avail. The pickup "parties" are also poorly planned and lacking any real benefits since they really only involve picking up the wine and enjoying a free tasting which is something I could literally do any day I go. They also usually have a food truck or cart or caterer of some kind but it comes at an additional charge. Perhaps I was just spoiled with my membership at Temecula wineries.
Overall, it's a great place to stop by for good wine, but the service is lacking. We won't remain members for long.
