I have reviewed many breweries and you can read about them
here. Today though, I want to touch on a brewery that I have long wanted to visit. That place is
Oak Hills. Why did it take so long? Because they have the most bass-ackwards hours of any craft brewery...

Oak Hills |
...They're closed on Sundays. Why is this an issue? They are in Hesperia. Most people are driving through there on a Friday or a Sunday on their way to or from Vegas. Closing on a Sunday is a dumb business move.

Oak Hills Head |
We finally happened to trek up there on a Saturday and made a pit stop for a flight. The tasting room is large enough and the staff was pretty friendly. They have excellent beers. Look at the head in the photo above? A perfect stout.
The place is family friendly and has craft sodas for the kids. If you're lucky enough to be up the hill on an off day, check them out. I wouldn't make the drive just to go there though.
