Today's post is about the Peter Pan trilogy.  Now, I know what you're thinking...there is no Peter Pan trilogy.  You're technically correct.  There is no one trilogy that involves some of the same production aspects.  But I am here to tell you that there is a great Peter Pan trilogy that can provide you a few hours of entertainment.

Part One-Pan
Let's start with part one of my trilogy:
Pan. Pan was critically panned. (Pun intended)  It came out in 2015 and has a 5.8 on
IMDb.  I watched it very recently and I think the critics are a bunch of jackasses.  The movie does have a few flaws and some very strange choices, but overall, it's a highly entertaining origin story.  Hugh Jackman is obviously great, but the story itself is intriguing and different.  You certainly have not seen this Peter before.

Part Two-Peter Pan
The sequel in my made up trilogy is
Peter Pan.  Yes, there are many versions of this story and you've probably seen them all.  It also has a low rating on
IMDb, but again, I like this quirky live action version.  It's not the sugar-coated story of Disney and stage fame, but it's certainly worth your time.  Jason Isaacs is particularly yummy.

Part Three-Hook
And the finale in my trilogy is
Hook.  The oldest film in the trilogy is probably the best, even if it has a rating in the middle of the three on
IMDb.  Hook is the story of Peter all grown up and one of my favorite Robin Williams films.  Dustin Hoffman is also a delight.  It's a great story that closes out the trilogy nicely.
There you have it, a great Peter Pan trilogy.  You won't regret the time watching all 3.

Hook was the first movie I ever remember seeing in theaters. It's one of my favorites.
