Bilbo Birthday Month

It's almost March and that means it's almost Bilbo Birthday Month.  What's that?  You are not familiar with this celebration.  I hope you brought your broom because I am about to drop some knowledge.

Bilbo Birthday Month is a month long celebration of the majestic day I was born.  (You're welcome world!)

My birthday is March 27th, but I get a whole month to celebrate.  Why?  Because, why not?

I get told I am too old for this crap or that you're only allowed a birthday month on your golden birthday or that I cannot unwrap gifts in the middle of Home Depot.

Why?

Why can't I have my month?  Am I hurting you?  Does me pretending that I expect a gift from someone all 31 days of the month really affect you?

No.  It doesn't.

So I am going to go on celebrating my birthday month and you're going to go on allowing me to because I am only turning 38 and I am determined to be young at heart!

Now, where's my gift?
