Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens Review

In case you have been trapped under a rock, in 2013, The Asylum released a little film called Sharknado on tv.  It holds a 3.3 on IMDb.  It somehow spawned a 2014 sequel, Sharknado 2: The Second One, which has a 4.1 on IMDb.  Then came2015's Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! which boasts a 4.2 on IMDb.  They are terrible films.  Just awful.  But for some reason, we cannot get enough and we keep getting rewarded with another sequel.  I present my review for 2016's Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens.

They're back!

Sharknado 4 has a 4.2 on IMDb and is currently available on Netflix, but guys, honestly, this film won't make sense if you have not seen the 1st 3.  They are also on Netflix so call it a marathon and hate stuff your face while you hate feed your eyeballs with this crap.  Of course, I jest.  You don't really need to watch all 4.  You should, because they're awfully awesome, but you don't have to.

The series stars Hollywood rejects, Tara Reid and Ian Ziering and, like the rest of the cast, they seem to know they are in a terrible film.

Sharknado 4 takes place 5 years after the 3rd one.  Some company has developed magic technology that has prevented Sharknadoes from continuing.  Unfortunately for us, a Sandnado is a different story.  Yes, a Sandnado.  It somehow picks up sharks from an aquarium in Vegas and that place should really be looked into because there were hundreds of sharks there.  Where's PETA?!?

Any way, the Sand/Sharknado gains momentum and travels around the USA causing destruction.  It spawns a few Hailnadoes and a Lavanado.  I wish I was making this up.  Somehow, the Sandnado gains lightning abilities and eventually nuclear power.  Yes, there are nuclear flying sharks over Ohio.  You can read that sentence again if you want.  I will wait.

OK, did I mention that in Part 3, we voted on whether or not Tara Reid's character would live after being squished by a space shuttle?  I didn't?!?!  Well we did and apparently we voted for her to live, so she's a cyborg in this one that can fly, has super strength, and shoots lasers from the palms of her hands!!

Guys, I cannot possibly do this film justice.  Just go watch it.  Oh, and hurry, because there is already a 5th one scheduled for 2017 release.
